Saw more of these today than I’ve seen Giulias in months. It’s... not a great looking car, in my opinion. Sure, it’s not all grille, but it’s just... eugh. That plus the wonky looking back-end from the side makes for an ugly package. If I had the money, I wouldn’t buy one.

I don’t think it’s ugly, but there’s something off about it. I find the Giulia to be very attractive, but I just don’t love the Stevio.

I felt a disturbance and the force and now I’m here to tell you you’re wrong. It’s the BEST crossover.

Sorry dude, you and I are gonna have to disagree. The Stelvio is fugly.

That’s fine.
As long as you remember your stance is wrong.

In a world where crossovers use awkward gimmicks to stand out, the Stelvio is a shining light. Plus it’s RWD-biased AWD rather than FWD-biased, and it handles beautifully.

But standing out because of your awful looks isn’t exactly a good gimmick.

I’m starting to see a fair amount of them. I like it a lot. The XC60 is better but as far as crossovers go it’s a nice shape. I actually like the front except for the LED stripes inside the lights. Those are stupid.

It’s got a birdface.

By extension so is the Giulia.
It’s literally the same face pulled taller.

I mean, only if they liked it and were planning on buying it used.

Between Merc’s hotrod GLC63 V8, Jag’s handsome F-Pace S with that awesome sounding V6, and Porsche’s incredibly capable Macan Turbo Performance, I wouldn’t say the Stelvio is the best, especially with that butterface

So you wouldn’t buy a quadrifoglio

Counterpoint: Compared to its Levante corporate sibling, it’s quite handsome.
It’s also better-looking than the Bentayga and Urus.
That said, I saw a Velar in the flesh yesterday, and it handily steals the “best-looking luxury SUV” crown from its corporate twin, the F-Pace.

Nope.

I agree - as stylish and sporty as the Giulia looks, the morphed features of the Stelvio results in “angry cat” face and a hippopotamus back end. For approximately the same $$, I’d choose sporty over functional. Still not as ugly as the Maserati Levante, though that’s in a whole another price bracket...
